Discover the principles and elements of art through these explorations. while allowing individuality to shine through. It's a process to be molded and defined by every individual as they create their own unique masterpieces.
This will be my final newsletter for our OE Weebly site as I will be moving back to Seattle, Washington December 19th to be with my family. All 3 kids and their spouses, 9 grandkids (#10 to be born in January), and siblings are there and calling me home.
I must let you know how the children of Oakland Elementary have filled my spirit, on a daily basis, and I truly loved coming to work with them each and every day. Thank you for being such a wonderful and gracious community as well as my Texas family. Mrs. Eaton

REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE
We've had fun using our recycled crayons from the Art Room in the Art Room:)
Peel and break crayons.
Bake at 250 degrees for 20 minutes in "crayon only" designated muffin tins.
Stir gently with a toothpick (to avoid excess oil on top)
Let cool and press lightly to pop out.
